If you are a new blogger, it can be difficult to know what type of content to create. Trust me, I’ve been there! I decided to create a short list of some valuable content that you could create for your audience. This is content that makes it easy to include affiliate links or promote different projects you are working on.

So, with that being said, let’s go ahead and get started!

The first piece of content that you can create is a ‘how to’ post, which essentially explains how to do something that your audience is interested in. While this explanation may seem vague, there are tons of topics you could choose from based on your niche. For example, if you are in the social media niche, you could write about how to create a YouTube ad. If you are in the sewing niche, you could write about how to make a pajama set. The opportunities are definitely endless!

Next, consider writing posts that target different tips and tricks around your niche. While at first glance this may seem like a saturated area to write about, I would like to challenge you to think about this differently. A lot of bloggers create blog posts with tips and tricks, but they are really creating it for themselves because they don’t provide all of the details. Make yourself stand out and write content with detailed, specific tips and tricks that will truly help people.

If you aren’t sure about the trending topics in your niche, try typing in a keyword on Pinterest and checking out what other suggested keywords appear. This can help you to come up with a blog post that is trending for your audience!

Another way to find trending topics is to use Google trends. You have the ability to see how the particular keyword has performed over time and whether it is currently trending. Google will also provide some relevant breakout keywords so these are great to check out as well.

If there is a new trend within your niche, whether it is widely accepted or controversial, it is certainly worth creating a review post! This goes along with creating trending content and could certainly be of interest to your audience. 

Product reviews are a great way to provide honest opinions around products that you have used and also provide affiliate links for the products you enjoyed. Try creating a product review for different products within your niche!

Finally, my last idea for now is to make a list of everything that you are an expert at or have knowledge around and start writing! Try brainstorming a list. You would be surprised at how much knowledge you have accumulated over the years!
