If you are a new blogger, it can be difficult to know what type of content to create. Trust me, I’ve been there! I decided to create a short list of some valuable content that you could create for your audience. This is content that makes it easy to include affiliate links or promote different projects you are working on.

So, with that being said, let’s go ahead and get started!

The first piece of content that you can create is a ‘how to’ post, which essentially explains how to do something that your audience is interested in. While this explanation may seem vague, there are tons of topics you could choose from based on your niche. For example, if you are in the social media niche, you could write about how to create a YouTube ad. If you are in the sewing niche, you could write about how to make a pajama set. The opportunities are definitely endless!

Next, consider writing posts that target different tips and tricks around your niche. While at first glance this may seem like a saturated area to write about, I would like to challenge you to think about this differently. A lot of bloggers create blog posts with tips and tricks, but they are really creating it for themselves because they don’t provide all of the details. Make yourself stand out and write content with detailed, specific tips and tricks that will truly help people.

If you aren’t sure about the trending topics in your niche, try typing in a keyword on Pinterest and checking out what other suggested keywords appear. This can help you to come up with a blog post that is trending for your audience!

Another way to find trending topics is to use Google trends. You have the ability to see how the particular keyword has performed over time and whether it is currently trending. Google will also provide some relevant breakout keywords so these are great to check out as well.

If there is a new trend within your niche, whether it is widely accepted or controversial, it is certainly worth creating a review post! This goes along with creating trending content and could certainly be of interest to your audience.

Product reviews are a great way to provide honest opinions around products that you have used and also provide affiliate links for the products you enjoyed. Try creating a product review for different products within your niche!

Finally, my last idea for now is to make a list of everything that you are an expert at or have knowledge around and start writing! Try brainstorming a list. You would be surprised at how much knowledge you have accumulated over the years!

Blog post ideas that attract your target audience

Blog post ideas are what will keep your blog exciting and new! Do you need blog post ideas for a lifestyle blog or a first blog post idea for your lifestyle blog? Click over to learn more!

Blog post ideas are what will keep your blog exciting and new! Do you need blog post ideas for a lifestyle blog or a first blog post idea for your lifestyle blog? Click over to learn more!

It is very important to keep your audience engaged with unique blog post ideas! If you fail to do this, you risk a high bounce rate and the inability to capture the attention of your audience. By fine tuning your content based on what your audience is truly interested in, you are much more likely to attract your tribe and get repeat visits.

First, it is very important to survey your audience to find out what they are interested in and what content they need. A couple of ways to do this include:

  • Creating a poll on your Instagram stories – ask your audience what they need help with
  • Creating a poll or asking a question in a relevant Facebook group (as long as it is alright with the admin)

Ok, now that we have that part out of the way, here are some blog post ideas to get you started!
The very first type of blog post that you could create is a detailed tutorial. When your audience is trying to learn a new skill, it is very helpful to learn from a tutorial that includes screenshots around what you are trying to teach. This could be a tutorial around a certain technology, how to run an ad, or really anything.

Next, you could create a blog post around a technology list. This could include everyday technologies that you use to run your business, blog, or help you within your niche.

Next, it is extremely helpful to create blog posts around tips & hacks that actually work and don’t lead to an affiliate product. There are SO many blog posts these days that advertise a particular outcome or hack, but in reality lead to a course that you need to buy. Aim to set yourself apart by providing actual value.

Honest product reviews are a great choice for bloggers because this provides an opportunity to insert an affiliate link to the product while also really helping your audience. Consider ding a review on a product that you use frequently and like.

Another blog post area that is very helpful are exclusive breakdowns of social media algorithm changes. The reason why this is so helpful is because it is often difficult for people to understand algorithm changes and how algorithms work. By creating a piece of content focused on helping your audience you could establish yourself as a thought leader.

If there is a popular product that has been released, consider doing an in-depth review of this product. If this is a trending product this could definitely pique the interest of your audience.

One way to promote your blog is to conduct interviews with well known people within your niche. Consider conducting an interview and providing detailed notes for your audience.

Are you looking for Facebook live ideas to get more visibility? Creative Facebook like video ideas are what will ultimately set you apart from your competition! This article is packed with fun Facebook like video ideas, Facebook live tips, and Facebook live tools. Click over to find out more!

Facebook live is an amazing tool thanks to the ability to share videos across profiles and groups to maximize reach. Facebook also provides very helpful analytics to analyze the performance of your Facebook live videos. When it comes to video marketing, it is extremely important to pay attention to what the data is telling you and then modify your strategy accordingly.

The first Facebook live idea for you to try is picking a major painpint of your target audience and diving into how to resolve that pain point. It is better to speak to the pain point rather than the benefits, because pain points are easier to resonate with because people are already experiencing them. Benefits are great to mention, but it is more difficult for your audience to resonate with them if they have not experienced them yet.

Next, consider doing an interview with a thought leader from your industry. Provide them with graphics to promote your live and a blurb to send out to their email list. Making it as easy as possible for your interviewee to promote the interview is key. This is a great way to cross promote yourself for extra visibility.

Another Facebook live idea is to provide a limited time offer to your audience. To take advantage of the offer, ask your audience to share the video and tag someone else who may be interested. This will signal to the Facebook algorithm that your video is really picking up speed and something that should be shown to more people.

When you are testing out different videos, here are a couple of analytics that would be ideal to pay attention to:

  • Minutes viewed
  • Watch time
  • Audience retention
  • Reach
  • Unique Viewers
  • Post Engagement

So, if you have a blog, you’ve probably wondering: what are some additional ways that I can make money! There are honestly so many opportunities to make money with a blog, which is why I’ve crafted this post to share! It is important to be aware of all of the different ways to monetise your blog and how you can make money by writing a blog.

The different methods listed below are crafted from the most successful monetized blogs. So, if you are wondering, can you earn from blogging, now you know!

The first method involves advertising. Using Google Adwords or services like Mediavine, you can begin to accumulate advertising revenue! Many bloggers discount this method because you may not be earning quite as much as other methods, but it definitely ads up and is something that you should explore.

Next up is affiliate marketing. This is a great way to promote products and services for other companies and make a commission without actually needing to create a product of your own!

Next, if you have your own business and create different digital products (or even non-digital!), a blog is a great way to sell. If you can drive traffic to your blog while targeting the right audience, you can use this traffic to sell your own products/services and grow your business.

Once you begin building up some consistent traffic to your blog, consider pitching companies for brand sponsorships. This is a great way to get more visibility, build up your own personal brand, and begin to make money. Once you have a portfolio of companies that you’ve worked with, you can begin to charge higher rates.

Do you have a specific skill set that you are trying to promote? Maybe you own a business? If so, consider coaching others to learn what has helped you to grow your own business! Once you are able to drive enough traffic to your blog, you can begin promoting a coaching program with higher rates.

Are you really good at building blogs? Do you know how to create a quality blog and set it up for success? If  consider flipping websites! This is a great way to make money using your skill sets while also helping to set others bloggers up for success with their new website.

Do you want to open up a store to sell physical products? If you’ve built consistent traffic to your blog, you could use your blog to promote your dropshipping store. This would work well if you are targeting a specific niche, like makeup or sports.

As mentioned earlier, if you have a specific skill that could be taught to people, an alternative to creating a course would be to create an ebook and sell it to your audience. Ebooks are often more affordable than courses, which could potentially result in more purchases depending on your audience.

Another exciting way to build your social media presence is to use your blog to drive traffic to other platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Once you’ve mastered how to drive traffic, including links to your profiles and content from the different platforms you appear on is a great way to drive traffic.

If you are very skillful at graphic design, video editing, writing, or another trade, you can use your blog to get more gigs! Blogging about a topic related to your skill set and leaving a CTA at the end of the blog promoting your services is one way to get more business.

10 unique and simple ways to make writing blog posts easy

So you need to write blog posts in the most efficient way possible, but you aren’t sure where to begin to write blog content? This is exactly how you write content for your blog the easy way in 2020. Click over to find out 10 tips to make writing blog posts easy!

Do you need to write blog posts but you either suffer from writer’s block, don’t know where to start or feel overwhelmed?

Sometimes, getting started can be the most difficult aspect of starting a blog. Other times, you may feel as if your content lacks cohesion or feels disjointed.

We know how important is to be writing blog posts on a consistent basis – and today, you’ll learn all about how to write a successful blog post!

Brainstorm blog topics at once

When thinking about topics, my first tip is to consider brainstorming your blog topics all at once. Think about it – if you spend a chunk of time doing a lot of the same task, you will eventually get into a rhythm and become SUPER efficient at that task. That is absolutely key when mastering your workflow. Use this time to get creative when it comes to brainstorming content.

Revise blog headline with headline analyzer

Next, craft 4-5 potential headlines for your blog. This will ensure that you are challenging yourself to think outside of the box when it comes to your headlines. Then, run your headlines into the CoSchedule Headline Analyzer tool. Continue tweaking your headline until it is green in the headline analyzer tool.

Plan your content with bullet points

If the sheer thought of writing a blog post stresses you out, try breaking up the workload by planning out your blog post with bullet points. I use this method and it makes writing blog posts a LOT easier. This also helps to ensure that your blog posts have the right flow and do not go off topic since you’ve already planned your content ahead of time.

Pick your tone – write in a way that feels natural to YOU

When I first began writing blog posts, I felt super awkward because I hadn’t yet identified my tone. Begin writing in any way that feels natural to you. It may take some time to find your tone based on how you write and the audience you are serving, but it will come! Try experimenting with different tones and find what feels most natural to you.

Intro

Your introduction is really important because this is the section where you will be hooking your audience. If the intro isn’t engaging, this could cause visitors to leave your site which will increase your bounce rate. A few tips for creating an engaging introduction include 1) asking a question, 2) listing out common pain points of your target audience (that you will address), and 3) Find ways to seem relatable to your audience so that they know they are not alone in their problem.

Body

When it comes to the body of your blog, one of the most important things to do is to keep this section organized. Not all readers ill read your entire blog post, so organizing your blog post with sections will help your reader to find what they are looking for and have a more positive experience. It is crucial to have a consistent flow to your blog post. For example, using a variety of bold headers, italics and paragraphs without any order might be confusing. Instead, pick one way to organize your blog post and stick with it.

Call to action

If you are writing a blog post with a specific goal in mind, it is critical to create a call to action. This will help your audience to have an idea of what the next step is for them in their journey. A call to action could be to join an email list or possibly book a free coaching call. Including links to lower priced items is fine, but I would refrain from directly including links to sales pages for higher ticket items because you are more likely to get a sale via a sales call.

Grammar check and spelling review

Once you have finished writing your post, checking for grammar and possible spelling issues is a MUST! You could use a tool like Grammarly to ensure that you are creating content that is the highest quality possible.

Insert links and resources where necessary

If you have other, related resources or know of another blogger who is an expert around what you are writing about, inserting a link is a fantastic idea. This will ensure that your audience has additional resources and can find more information around what you are blogging about. This is also another way that you can add value to your audience.‘

Do not overthink it – just begin writing!

Finally – last but not least – try your best not to overthink it! Writing is a process and it takes time to feel more comfortable with it. The more you write, the easier it will come to you. Have patience and enjoy the journey!
